An Unexpected Encounter
On the evening of June 4th, 2025, I arrived at the entrance of Songdo Yongkung Sky Walk in Busan. The sun was about to set, and there weren’t many tourists around. Everything felt quiet and peaceful. That’s when I met three or four cats wandering near the entrance.
At that moment, I couldn’t help but think: “How can such cute creatures exist in this world?”
A Gentle Time Together
What made me even happier was when I took out my telephoto lens, these little ones seemed to understand my heart. They didn’t run away or act shy. They just naturally let me photograph them.
Some were lying on the ground looking into the distance. One was hiding behind a door post, turning its head to look at me. Another was resting lazily on a chair. Some were gazing somewhere with half-closed eyes, while others sat quietly, staring far away. Every pose felt healing and peaceful.
Grateful for This Warmth
They stayed with me quietly until I was completely satisfied and packed up my equipment. Only then did they walk away gracefully. Facing this unexpected gentleness and cooperation, my heart was full of gratitude.
Sometimes, the most beautiful encounters happen so naturally, and that’s what makes them so precious.
