In March, Taichung welcomes perfect sunshine and gentle breezes. During this blossoming season, I visited the National Taichung Theater with my photography class. It was the morning of March 12th, with a brilliantly blue sky without a trace of clouds, as if specially prepared as the perfect backdrop for our photography journey.
The golden trumpet trees surrounding the theater were in full bloom, their golden flowers glimmering in the sunlight, creating a striking contrast with the unique modern architecture of the building. The flowing concrete structures alongside nature’s golden hues complemented each other beautifully, like a carefully orchestrated visual symphony.
The area wasn’t crowded, with only my photography classmates and teacher present, making the entire shooting experience particularly pleasant. We could take our time finding the best angles, capturing the most beautiful moments, and enjoying this visual feast undisturbed.
That day, my teacher generously lent me a fisheye lens, allowing me to experiment with different photography styles. Through the fisheye lens, the architectural lines of the theater became more dramatic and theatrical, while the golden trumpet trees appeared like spring’s gentle arms, softly embracing the entire theater in their golden palms, creating a warm and dreamlike scene.
