TSG Hawks vs CTBC Brothers – My First Photography Experience at Intercontinental Stadium

On June 30th, 2025, at 5:10 PM, I visited Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium to watch the exciting match between TSG Hawks and CTBC Brothers. Though this wasn’t my first time at a baseball stadium, this visit had a different purpose – I came to accompany my cousins who are Brothers fans, and also to practice my photography skills.

The weather was really nice that day. Sitting at the border between infield and outfield, I had a perfect view to capture every exciting moment on the field. Before the game started, I pointed my camera at the staff who were carefully preparing the field. Their professional and dedicated expressions set the stage for the upcoming game.

As the home ground of CTBC Brothers, Intercontinental Stadium was truly the kingdom of the yellow army. Most of the packed audience wore yellow jerseys supporting the Brothers, while the TSG fans who traveled from Tainan were fewer in number but still cheered loudly for their team. Every time a Brothers batter stepped into the batter’s box, the whole stadium exploded with excitement. Fans shouted together, and the cheerleaders’ dances pushed the atmosphere to its peak.

Interestingly, I originally just wanted to practice my photography skills, but I found myself unknowingly attracted to the passionate cheerleaders. I kept pressing the shutter, and when I checked my memory card later, I discovered I had taken tons of cheerleader close-up shots. Perhaps this is the magic of professional baseball – even if you’re not a baseball fan, you can still be moved by the passion in the stadium and feel this pure sporting spirit through your camera lens.
